Mississippi State football coach Mike Leach gave a reporter some interesting marriage advice Saturday as the Bulldogs beat Texas A&M 42-24.
SEC Network reporter Alyssa Lang asked Leach what he thought of the wedding because he’s engaged to Pro Football Focus analyst Trevor Sikkema. A college football coach came up with an interesting idea for Lang and Sikkema.

“You set up a meeting and I’ll talk to him,” Leach said. “We will be watching closely, but whatever you and Trevor decide, I’ll keep it low-key. You neglected it. Trevor probably meant to, but you didn’t. did not do it.
“Trevor probably planned on it, but you didn’t. Don’t say anything about it. But you’ll elope as soon as the season is over, or even during the off week. Believe it, the family is going to terrorize you guys until it’s over with basically all the women.

Leach added that if Sikkema “didn’t make sense to do it,” he should be called.
Leach gave the same advice to backup quarterback Chance Loverich last month. He was asked about it in media availability with reporters.
