The New York Mets defense made a successful highlight reel play against the Atlanta Braves Tuesday night.
Mets pitcher RJ Alvarez was on the mound in relief for starter Taijuan Walker, who was removed from the game after two innings due to a back spasm.
With Ronald Acuna Jr. on first base in the third, Alvarez threw the pitch high over the head of Braves hitter Dansby Swanson.
The shortstop fell into the dirt to avoid the plank.
