Reportedly, LIV Golf is set to announce another new member this weekend, with top-ranked golfer Cameron Smith expected to be on the list.
The 2020 British Open champion has been rumored for weeks to be the latest, and perhaps most important, golfer to join the circuit backed by rival Saudi Arabia. Completion of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, According to The Telegraph, LIV Golf will announce the addition of Smith and six other players.
According to the outletall seven are believed to have qualified for the St. Jude Championship and are set to compete at the upcoming LIV Golf Invitational in Boston next month.

Prior to the start of the FedEx Cup playoffs, Smith told media at a press conference that his top priority was to “win the FedEx Cup playoffs”, commenting on rumors that he had already signed a deal with LIV Golf. refused to do so.
“My goal here is to win the FedEx Cup playoffs. That’s all I am here for. PGA Tour or LIVit will come from Cameron Smith, not Cameron Percy,” he said after the Australian golfer revealed in an interview that Smith had “left.”
