The game took place at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, where McDaniels played quarterback for the Canton McKinley Bulldogs during his high school years.
While McDaniels was in high school, he was tutored by his father, Tom McDaniels. According to the Raiders’ team website, Tom McDaniels has won the most games in the school’s history. Now that his roles have been slightly reversed, his father can see his son coach on the high school field just like he did years ago.
