Kyle Larson made a restart in about five laps to compete in the Go Bowling at the Glen Race on Sunday night in Watkins Glen, New York.
In second, he jumped at the chance to pass Chase Elliott and held off AJ Allmendinger for the rest of the race to take his second win of the season. Larson has already made it to the NASCAR playoffs, where nine top-5 finishes and his 12 top-10s put him third in the points standings.
The No. 5 Chevrolet achieved its second straight win on the road course. He also won his August 2021 for his HendrickCars.com vehicle.

Larson took his first win of the season in the Auto Club 400 in February.
The win also meant Larson dominated the NASCAR weekend at Watkins Glen. He held off Allmendinger in his NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Watkins Glen International on Saturday.
Allmendinger finished second, Joey Logano third, Elliot fourth and Daniel Suarez fifth.

Kevin Harvick, who won the last two races, finished 12th.
The NASCAR playoffs are finally over. A new winner still has a chance to advance to the Final 16, as no one wins the race.
Elliott started on pole for the race. He appeared unhappy with how the race ended, but congratulated Larson on his victory.
He also signed a contract for the regular season championship during the race.He won the title after Chase Briscoe won stage one.

The final regular season race is Saturday at Daytona International Speedway at the Coke Zero Sugar 400. All eyes are on Ryan Blaney, Martin Truex Jr., Aric Almirola, Eric Jones and Bubba Wallace.
