So how does it feel to be one of the lucky ones to get a piece of the pie? We caught up with some of the winners to find out.
A native of California, Allison lives in an equal opportunity household when it comes to NFL fandom. She, her husband and her five children raiders,Hometown charger and the seahawks.
“I have a former student who works for the Raiders, so we root for the Raiders. And the Seahawks—we’ve always loved them as family,” she said. “When it comes to the Chargers, they’re a local team, and you see Chargers players at the doctor we go to every now and then.”
Mother of five kids admits she messed around FOXbet She had friends who played Super 6 contests in the past. But it wasn’t until this year that she took her chances seriously.
“I started playing because it was free, it was easy, and it made watching football on Sundays more fun. But I wasn’t sure if people really won.”
But people really win.Allison’s own triumphant moment was last Sunday’s cardinals–panthers game. But before her grand finale, she kept up with her own progress throughout her day.
“I looked down and said, ‘Oh, I got the first one.’ Then I looked down again and said, ‘Oh, there’s a second one.’
But as the Cardinals defeated the Panthers 26-16 and were looking to cement her as the winner, Allison needed to listen to the final moments from her iPhone.
“We were setting up a new TV at my parent’s house and I couldn’t get the SMART feature to work. I was there and I saw the Cardinals on their knees and I was like, ‘Oh my God, they got on their knees and they is kneeling!
“And I couldn’t believe it. I was staring at the app in shock. I’m not someone who knows player stats. I’m just a mom and I won!”
Allison considers herself an average Joe when it comes to knowing football.
“I haven’t done any research. I always pick the Seahawks. cowboys Because a close family friend who was a Cowboys fan passed away.
“To be honest, most of it is complete speculation.”
Speaking of guesswork, Allison is still figuring out what to do with her money.
“We will use some of it for home upgrades, and some of it will be put away for our kids’ college funds.”
But one thing she knows for sure is that she will play again.
“Why don’t I keep playing? It’s free, so you don’t lose anything if you don’t win. Either way, you can have fun while playing.”
Heather of Minnesota was another winner we caught up with. Just like Allison, she plans to put some of her winnings toward home renovations. But unlike the West Coast winner, the Minnesota mother had never competed in a Super 6 contest last Sunday.
