Former CIA Director Michael Hayden on Wednesday agreed with British journalists’ claims that Republicans are “more nihilistic” and “dangerous” than extremist groups and dictatorships around the world.
“Throughout my career, I have covered extremist and violent ideologies around the world,” Financial Times columnist Edward Roos said Thursday. I have never come across a disdainful political force, nothing comes close.”
Among those who agreed with Ruth’s allegations was former CIA Director Michael Hayden, who tweeted:
Entrepreneur and self-proclaimed Trump supporter Jeff Guisey questions the productivity of such comments, saying they only reinforce the Republican Party’s “partisan and weaponized intelligence narrative.” It pointed out.
“Furthermore, your message exaggerates the claims. Do you really believe that the GOP is more nihilistic and disrespectful than Al-Qaeda? Seriously? Make that claim,” Guisey wrote in a follow-up tweet. “Also paint with too wide a brush. Not all Republicans are extremists and Uncle Maga is not the enemy. Please tone it down.”
