Edge had one of the most famous entrance theme songs early in his WWE career.
“You Think You Know Me” was played to packed arenas and stadiums during live shows, tapings and pay-per-views, allowing fans to instantly know who was coming to the ring.
On Sunday, the WWE Universe gets to know Edge a little better when his episode “Biography WWE: Legends” premieres on A&E.
The 48-year-old’s journey to WWE (formerly known as World Wrestling Federation) was filled with several twists and turns.

He saw an ad in the Toronto Sun with the essay “Why I Want to Be a Pro Wrestler”. He wrote an epic story about his dreams and goals, eventually winning a contest and getting the chance to train with professional wrestlers Sweet Daddy Shiki and Ron Hutchinson.
When asked if he thinks about the essay and how it got the ball rolling for his career, Edge told Fox News Digital he thinks about it “almost every day.” rice field.

Edge said Hart’s advice to him at the time helped cultivate some breakup wisdom for young men who asked him for some pointers.

Prior to making his debut on WWE TV, Edge hit the independent circuit, training with Hart to hone his skills and athleticism in the ring. He signed a training contract in 1997 and made his debut in 1998.
In a universe filled with guys like The Rock, Mankind, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Kane, The Undertaker, and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, he came out as Edge and was billed as a tortured soul. But why “edge”?
“I actually came up with Edge. I would have liked Adam Copeland better, but it didn’t really work. Albany and it was ‘Edge 1-0-Something’ and it was in Toronto.” Growing up, Edge 102 was always one of my favorite stations,” he said.

Edge’s career gained significant traction when he teamed up with Gangrel and his lifelong friend Christian, and they became known as The Brood. , Edge and Christian had one of the most memorable tag teams in WWE history.
Edge and Christian won the World Tag Team Championship seven times. The two feuded with The Hardy Boys and The Dudley Boys, creating some of the most iconic matches in professional wrestling history. In at least one place, Edge jumped off one ladder and speared Jeff Hardy, who was hanging from his belt buckle a few feet above the ring.

When asked if he expected the crowd’s violent reaction, he told Fox News Digital:
“Because, like everyone else, I thought it was over,” he said of his thoughts on his wrestling career at the time. Edge later returned as a regular, feuding with Randy Orton, The Miz, and AJ Styles. He would become the leader of the faction The Judgment Day before turning on and starting feuds with members of that group.
