Director of National Intelligence Avril Haynes, along with other officials, has weighed in on the “potential risks” to national security from former President Trump allegedly storing classified documents in his Florida mansion. We are planning to “evaluate” the Diet members.
Haynes wrote to Oversight Board Chairman Carolyn Maloney, DN.Y. Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, a Democrat, State of California, and informed both of the decision.
In a joint statement, Maloney and Schiff said they were “satisfied” with the decision.
“In response to our investigation, Secretary Haynes confirmed that the Intelligence Service and the Department of Justice have assessed the damage caused by the improper storage of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago. I am pleased to say that the DOJ’s affidavit was partially opened yesterday and some of the documents held at Mar-a-Lago contain documents that could endanger human resources. confirming our grave concerns that the sanctions were being carried out in parallel with the DOJ criminal investigation,” they wrote.

An affidavit opened Friday revealed that the FBI has “reasonable reason to believe” that records containing classified information, including national defense information, are located at Mar-a-Lago, the residence of former President Trump.
The affidavit was heavily redacted, with 20 of the 38 pages heavily or completely redacted.

Trump took to social media on Saturday to call the raid conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation on Aug. 8 “one of the most egregious attacks on democracy.”
