“God Did,” DJ Khaled’s fourth album to top the charts, sold the equivalent of 175 million copies in the US in its first week, according to tracking service Luminate. Among the compositions of “God Did” in its physical form are: $40 box set Comes with a Funko Pop figure from the artist.
Also this week, K-pop girl group Twice ranked third with their 7-track mini-album “Between 1&2”, which sold over 100,000 copies and relied heavily on collectible CD packaging (17 in total). Bad Bunny’s “Un Verano Sin Ti” dropped to number two after peaking for her ninth. Un Verano, her biggest album to date, has been bouncing between the top two slots on the charts for her 17 weeks.
Kendrick Lamar’s “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers” opened at No. 1 in May, but climbed 20 places to No. 4 after its release on record.
