The Democratic primary to fill the House seat currently held by Florida Rep. I’m concerned that I don’t want to work with him again.
Among the 10 candidates in Florida’s 10th primary, which includes Orlando, is Alan Grayson, who represented the 8th District from 2009-2011 and the 9th District from 2013-2017. In 2016, he called a female lobbyist a “K Street whore,” cursed reporters, and threatened to report a Politico reporter to Capitol Police.
Progressive candidate Maxwell Alejandro Frost is gaining support, but the size of the primary could split the vote enough to pass Grayson, and Arizona Democrat Ruben Gallego Lawmakers are ‘concerned’.
“We know the polls are very tough, but we also know Maxwell is getting a lot of momentum on his side,” Gallego told Punchbowl News. [Frost] Name ID We started with zero, but in the final vote we all tied. “

Rep. Greg Meeks, chairman of the House Foreign Relations Committee, also spoke out against Mr. Grayson, saying, “Our country is better off with representation that reflects the rich diversity of our country.” The New Yorker accused Grayson of being “someone who wants to use his wealth to gain power.”
Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wisconsin) accused Grayson of including past statements of praise from prominent Democrats who did not endorse him in this campaign.

In one campaign mailer, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, “I love Alan Grayson.” This is from a 2018 Tampa Bay Times interview in which Pelosi addressed Grayon’s major challenge to D-Fla’s Rep. Darren Soto. Pelosi used the quoted statement, which she followed by saying, “It’s sad that Alan chose to come back to that race.” I want it back,” but I want him to run in another seat.
Ahead of this year’s primaries, Soto spoke candidly.
“It’s a chaotic race,” he told Punchbowl. “That’s all I have to say.”
The same mailer also used compliments of President Biden and former President Barack Obama.
“It’s incredibly deceptive. It’s kind of sad if you can only win by lying to future voters, right?” Pocan told Punchbowl. “And I just hope Alan doesn’t try to change Alan’s… Unfortunately, some people are very selfish.”

In response, Grayson asked if Pelosi had ever spoken of Pocan in that way. I have,’ he said.
