The Philadelphia Eagles tormented the Minnesota Vikings and quarterback Kirk Cousins throughout Monday night’s game, earning an easy 24-7 win.
Darius Slay helped keep the connection between Cousins and Justin Jefferson at bay. He had two spectacular interceptions from Cousins in the game. Avonte Maddox had another one. Cousins was also fired twice and failed once, but was able to recover.

Slay finished with five pass defenses and two tackles. Maddox he added eight tackles and one pass defense. TJ Edwards led the team with 10 tackles. Fletcher Cox and Josh Sweat each had a sack.
Philadelphia was hit hard by an attack from Jalen Hurts. All three of his touchdowns came in the first half against the Vikings.
He had two touchdowns on the ground and one in the air. He had 333 passing yards and a score on 26 of his 31 passes. He also intercepted. Hurts also ran for 57 yards.

Hearts’ lone touchdown pass went to Kez Watkins, who finished with two catches for 69 yards. Dallas Goudart led the team with five catches for 82 yards. Devonta Smith recorded his seven catches for his 70 yards.
The cousins and the Vikings could do little.
Cousins was 27-of-48 for 221 passing yards and a touchdown pass to Irv Smith Jr. He also led the team in rushing yards with 20 yards.
Jefferson had only six catches for 48 yards after an incredible Week 1 game. He was targeted 12 times.
The Eagles are off to a 2-0 start heading into the 2022 regular season. His NFC East rivals, the New York Giants, have also started the season with his 2-0 record, with the two teams at the top of the division.
Philadelphia will face the Washington Commanders in their Week 3 trip.
