Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and girlfriend Nessa Diab welcomed their first baby.
Diab made the announcement on Instagram on Sunday afternoon.
“I have thought long and hard about sharing news that will change our lives today,” Diab wrote in the caption. Because I went to work with my new life title, MOM!
“Colin and I welcomed a wonderful baby into the world a few weeks ago and we are overjoyed with our growing family.”

Radio host and MTV presenter Niab called Kaepernick, who remains a free agent, “the most amazing dad” and said, “We are so grateful to have him by our side every moment of this journey. I am grateful,” he said.
Kaepernick worked out for the Las Vegas Raiders in May, but despite reports that Las Vegas were impressed with Kaepernick’s arm strength and conditioning, nothing came out of the workout. If anything, it was a positive sign that Kaepernick might be getting calls from other teams.

Meanwhile, former NFL star Warren Sapp said he heard it was “one of the worst workouts I’ve ever had.”
Kaepernick’s agent, Jeff Nalley, told Pro Football Talk that Sapp’s statement was not true.

“I don’t think Warren talked to the general manager or the head coach,” Nally told the football website. He threw the ball very well and said he would encourage any team to call him about a workout.He would tell them the same thing.I am amazed at Warren That’s not true, so he’ll want Kapu on the team.”

Kaepernick has not been signed since a polarizing protest during an NFL game when he kneeled during the national anthem.
