The mayor of Chicago said during a rally on Friday that it was time to “bring back” Illinois’ Republican gubernatorial candidate.
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s comments about gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey were made during a speech rallying supporters to vote Democrats in November.

“Definitely Trump is on the ballot. His name is Darren Bailey. And we need to send him back to the farm,” Lightfoot said. “Trump is on the ballot of every Republican he faces when he enters the ballot pool. And we have to remember that we are Illinois. We are a state that believes in people’s rights. and we treat everyone with dignity and respect.”
Lightfoot had just finished accusing Republicans of “doing nothing but hate”… every day in this state. ”
