Justin Herbert seems to have fought through a rib injury Los Angeles Chargers within reach Despite a tough loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night, head coach Brandon Staley praised the young quarterback.
Staley provided a quick update on: Herbert after the gamesaying the team will have a better idea of his injury on Friday, which he believes is a rib injury.
“He’s fine. It was a tough game. You won’t see a quarterback at any level of football play tougher and do more for a team and their team I would give him a better chance than him,” Staley said adamantly.

“No one can do what he can. No one. He showed a lot of guts. He showed us what he shows every day – we never get out of a fight.”
Herbert missed just one play after being off the field for some time after being hit hard midway through the fourth quarter. Chiefs defensive end Mike Danna. He came back and threw a 35-yard pass to DeAndre Carter to set the next score for the Chargers.
