“I want to say I am truly sorry to all the women I have affected in this situation,” he told ESPN.
“I definitely want to take back the decisions I made in my life to get to this point, but I want to keep moving forward, grow, learn, and show who I really am. To keep moving forward.”

Watson has previously said he “doesn’t regret” his actions, but it seems he’s had time to reflect.
The NFL received a six-game suspension for Watson’s alleged conduct during a massage session, detailed in a lawsuit filed by 25 women. One woman took off her suit and Watson reconciled with his 23 others.
The quarterback was suspended by a retired federal judge, and the NFL is appealing the suspension for at least an entire season.

“I know I have a lot of work to do to make sure I’m ready to play whenever I can get back on the field, especially when the time comes,” Watson said.
“But the biggest thing is that I want to continue counseling and make sure I’m growing as a person and as an individual for decision-making in and out of the field. I want to evolve as much as possible in the community.” It’s just the Cleveland community, the NFL community and beyond.”
