Robinson Cano was traded to another team on Monday and the price was just right.
Second baseman was traded from San Diego Padres to the Atlanta Braves for $ 1 on a minor league contract. The Braves chose Kano for the Major League Baseball roster late Monday.

Eight-time All-Star Kano started the season at the New York Mets. He played for Mets in 12 games and hit .195 with only 8 RBIs and 3 RBIs. He was released from Mets on May 8 and signed the Padres on May 13.
Since then, he has been going back and forth with the Padres. He played in 12 games and hit .091 with RBI. He was 33 to 3 while in San Diego.

Atlanta will be the third team of the season if they play in the Braves field. New York owes Kano about $ 45 million remaining in its current contract with the Seattle Mariners in 2013.
Mets acquired Kano in 2018 under contracts with Gerson Bautista, Jay Bruce, Justin Dunn, Jarred Kelenic and Anthony Swarzac. New York has also gained closer Edwin Diaz in trade.

Atlanta will be missing star second baseman Ozzie Albies in the coming weeks. He broke his leg during his turn at bat last month. Orlando Arcia is taking his place.
