Manchester United’s Anthony played in his first game as a Red Devils and scored a goal to help his new side to a win against Arsenal on Sunday.
Antony filled in a perfectly timed pass from Marcus Rashford as Manchester United signed a €85m deal to put the Red Devils ahead.
Manchester United opened the scoring with Anthony’s left foot in the 35th minute.

Rashford scored their first two goals in the 66th minute after Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka scored one five minutes earlier. It was Bruno’s Fernandez superb ball that allowed Rashford to take advantage of his patented speed to take his 2–1 lead.

Rashford’s second goal was broken a little over 75 minutes later when Christian Eriksen was waiting for Rashford in case he needed a pass. Eriksen chose that option and Rashford killed the Gunners’ spirit with his 3–1 lead.
It was an upset at Old Trafford as Arsenal lead the Premier League and have won their first five games of the season. However, the Red Devils have won their last three games and Anthony’s arrival has clearly given their club a boost.

For Antony, this was the debut he wanted.
Dutch Ajax star Anthony has launched a strike as deadline date approaches and hopes to arrive at Old Trafford with former manager Eric ten Hag. A deal was eventually struck, after which he apologized to Ajax fans for leaving him out to focus on his arrival in England.
