Another caravan of illegal immigrant buses arrived in New York City on Tuesday, and Mayor Eric Adams continues efforts to erect tents and cots to centralize arriving travelers.
The first bus on Tuesday arrived around 6am and the second around 7am. Subsequent buses arrived at 7:16am and 7:40am.
This is my second day in a row arriving in New York City. The first bus on Monday arrived at around 5:50am, followed by buses at 5:58am, 6:12am, and 6:21am.

Adams put public money into transforming the Orchard Beach parking lot in the Bronx into a tent city for immigrants. As construction began, Fox 5 NY Skyfox cameras spotted workers setting up tents Monday.
Authorities intend to camp To become a processing center where migrants can stay for four days before entering the city’s shelter system, which is overwhelmed by the influx.
Once the camp is complete, it will have five huge heated tents with cots enough to accommodate about 1,000 people.

The planned tent community doesn’t sit well with some immigrant advocates who oppose the mayor’s one-size-fits-all accommodations.
The Legal Aid Society said it was “deeply concerned about scenarios where families with children are forced into gathering places.”

Adams said he was disappointed by the criticism by the Legal Aid Society. Adams argues that Republican Governor Greg Abbott is the “true villain” to watch for how the city has dealt with thousands of immigrants bussed in from Texas. However, many of the buses came from the city of El Paso, Texas, which has a Democratic mayor.
Since April, more than 10,000 immigrants have been bused from Texas to New York City.
The Legal Aid Society said last week that the city could not accommodate 60 men, most of whom were immigrants recently bussed into the city.
