[Follow live updates of the 2022 Emmy Awards here.]
The 74th Annual Emmy Awards is now broadcasting live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and will be live-streamed for the first time on Peacock.
As with last year, the awards ceremony will be primarily in-person, reminiscent of pre-pandemic awards ceremonies. Kenan Thompson, who won an Emmy Award in 2018 for “Saturday Night Live,” is the host.
HBO’s satirical family drama Succession has won the most awards with 25 nominations, including best drama. We won our first award at the Creative Arts Emmys twice this month. Excellent casting for a drama series.
The Apple TV+ sitcom Ted Lasso has been nominated for 20 awards, including Best Actor in a Comedy Series and Best Actor in a Comedy Series for star Jason Sudeikis. And “The White Lotus” was the most nominated limited series of the year with 20 nominations.
