Australian Pat Cash, who won Wimbledon in the 80’s, Told BBC Radio He wasn’t enthusiastic about Kyrgios’ disgust.
“It was an absolute mayhem. He brought tennis to the lowest level I could see in terms of gamesmanship, cheating, manipulation, abuse, referees and offensive behavior against linemen.” Said Cash.
“He was lucky to be able to even go through the first set. He should have been the default in the first set. You have to do something about it, it’s just an absolute circus. It’s just an absolute circus. Interesting? Yeah, maybe. It’s reached its absolute limit. Now. “

Cash explained what he meant by “cheating.” He said Kyrgios did more than just try to mentally upgrade Tsitsipas.
“Tsitsipas called and went there and started complaining. He became his face. It’s part of Gamesmanship, a kind of what he does, and there are limits. I think.
“I’m fine with a bit of Gamesmanship, but when it reaches that level, I think it’s out of control.
“As it was, the referee lost control. While Kyrgios was serving, the children of the ball were running across the court, he was for none of that. It didn’t slow down. For me, it’s overkill now. “
Kyrgios, known for his enthusiastic attitude on the court, was also disciplined for spitting at his fans during an early match in the tournament. He also called Rheinwoman a “snitch.”
