Coming soon to SeaWorld San Diego is California’s tallest, fastest, and longest dive coaster.

Named the Emperor Coaster, this vehicle “mimics the underwater diving capabilities of the iconic emperor penguins, the world’s largest penguins, and exhilarates people seeking thrills of heights, twists and turns never seen before in California. I’ll take you on a great journey, “said Theme Park in a media release.

The attraction will open on March 12th and will be the first and only floorless diving coaster in the state. According to Seaworld, riders climb to a height of 153 feet and “push a 143-foot face-down vertical descent that accelerates at over 60 mph.” Emperor coasters also feature flips, barrel rolls, Immelmann loops and more.
