Klaus Nomi was born on January 24, 1944 in Immenstadt, then the town of West Germany. He was raised by his mother, Betina, who had a strange job. He was born by the escape of Klaus with a soldier he had never met. When he was a kid, he and his mother moved to the city of Essen, about 400 miles away.
