The National League East rivalry between the New York Mets and the Atlanta Braves continued off the field as fans brawled with each other on Saturday night.
The fight took place in the seats below the first base line. A video posted on Twitter showed a man wearing a Braves jersey about to punch two other men wearing Jacob deGrom’s jerseys at City Stadium. He showed how he was swinging around the guards on the field.
After the Braves fan was unable to actually land a punch, one of the Mets fans swung back and appeared to knock the man out. I heard someone shout “F— get him up!”
