Justin Thomas appeared to be shadowed on Monday by remarks to LIV golf rivals Talor Gooch and Patrick Reed about JP McManus Pro-Am, who feels close to the Ryder Cup.
JP McManus Pro-Am will be held ahead of the British Open, the last golf major of the season to be held later this month. It will also be held at the Adea Manor in Ireland, the venue for the 2027 Ryder Cup.

Gooch hasn’t played in either tournament, but compared the atmosphere of the LIV Golf Event to the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup.
