Video on Wednesday captured a McLaren sports car rocking in Florida flooding caused by Hurricane Ian.
Nina Illyria posted a TikTok of a bright yellow McLaren P1 submerged in front of her home in Bonita Springs.
“It belongs to my boyfriend. I just bought it two weeks ago,” Illyria told Storyful.
Illyria’s boyfriend, Ernie, took to Instagram to document the purchase of the P1 on Sept. 16, noting that the hypercar only has 300 miles on it.

Ernie’s garage flooded, leaving McLaren and Rolls Royce on the road.
“We lost our homes too. We are lucky to be alive.”

Illyria told Storyful that the car is insured.
Ernie posted an update on P1 held in the toilet.
according to McLaren websitethe performance car went into production in 2013 with just 375 built and sold.
