Once set up, sign in to your Google account using two steps: something you know (password) and something you have (such as your mobile phone). This is only required when signing on on a new device.
Here’s how to set it up for Google:

Extensions add powerful functionality to your browser. Think coupon finders, grammar checkers, screenshot tools. However, not all extensions are useful. Some track you around the Internet, hog your bandwidth, and even infect your computer with malware.
Not just unknown downloads. Recently, 5 extensions with 1.4 million downloads were discovered hiding malware. Tap or click the list to see if it’s installed.

Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is used to load pages using hypertext links. Websites that use HTTP are not secure. So you should stick to sites that start with HTTPS. (The extra “S” stands for secure.) This encrypts the website content.
Chrome’s HTTPS-First mode attempts to load all sites over HTTPS and warns you before visiting sites that don’t support HTTPS. Here’s how to enable it:
Open chromiumTap. three vertical dots It’s to the right of your profile icon.

So what does it do? When you browse the web in incognito mode, your browser doesn’t store your browsing history, cookies, site data, or information you’ve entered in forms. However, downloaded files and bookmarks created during the session are preserved.
There are a few things I particularly like Incognito for: shopping, keeping embarrassing searches out of my history, and keeping my home and work separate.
