McAllen, Texas – Beto O’Rourke’s supporters spoke out during the Democratic Friday night governor’s debate against Governor Greg Abbott ahead of the midterm elections.
“If we give a pardon, we’ll get rid of the coyotes and illegal activity. And I think there will be a lot of deaths,” Martha told Fox News. Supporting the O’Rourkes to help on the road to power.

During a debate at the University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley, O’Rourke and Republican Abbott exchanged barbs on topics ranging from immigration and border security to inflation.
“It’s clear that Viet only wants to perpetuate an open border policy and misinterpret exactly what’s going on,” Abbott said during the debate.
An 18-year-old Edinburgh resident who wished to remain anonymous told Fox News he was drawn to O’Rourke’s liberal approach to illegal immigration.
“They come here looking for a sanctuary for a better life. [O’Rourke is] I’m not going to let anyone run free or do anything. He expects them to obey the law like we do. But that’s what they’re looking for. to become an American citizen,” she said.

O’Rourke, who previously represented El Paso in the U.S. House of Representatives, ran for president in 2020 but dropped out before the first primary. Abbott, meanwhile, is widely expected to begin his presidential campaign for the 2024 election.

O’Rourke easily won the Texas gubernatorial primary in March. He temporarily postponed the August campaign event while battling a bacterial infection.
